For the 13th time Golden Oldies Netballers will meet for another week of Fun Friendship and Fraternity, in a very special place, New Zealands South Island adventure township of Queenstown.

Queenstown is the centre of the Southern Lakes District and is a stunning township situated on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, facing the magnificent Remarkables mountain range. Known internationally as the "Adventure Capital of the World" Queenstown has plenty to offer in terms adventure activities - bungy jumping, sky diving, white water rafting, and jet boating for the brave, or for something less exilerating, horse trekking, bush walks, lake cruisers or just enjoy the magnificent vistas that Queenstown has to offer.

The historic gold rush township of Arrowtown is only 20 minutes away or explore the local wine regions of, Lake Hayes, Cromwell or Alexandra. Further afield there are plenty of options with the cities of Dunedin and Christchurch within easy driving distance.

There are also plenty of daily flights to the North Island where you can discover the capital city of Wellington or the bright lights of Auckland.

The format for the weeks Festivities will be as follows

Day 1  Opening Ceremony and Welcome Party
Day 2  1st Day of Games
Day 3  Picnic Day
Day 4  2nd Day of Games
Day 5  Free day to explore Queenstown
Day 6  3rd Day of Games
Day 7  Grande Finale Dinner and Air New Zealand Awards Ceremony
